About

Since 2007, I have been working as a freelance editor and writer. Prior to this, I was at Penguin Books in both editorial and marketing roles. Before that, I was a legal editor at QuickLaw in Ottawa, Toronto, and Vancouver. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English (Honours) from the University of Ottawa, and a Master of Publishing from Simon Fraser University. For nearly nine years, I served on the editorial board of Literary Mama, and was Editor-in-Chief for the last two.

My poetry and nonfiction have appeared in numerous Canadian and international publications, including Poetry Pause (League of Canadian Poets); Exploring Voice: Italian Canadian Female Writers; Sweet Lemons 2: International Writings with a Sicilian Accent (Legas); Descant (Suburbia and Sicily issues);  Panoram Italia; Mom Egg Review; Thunderclap! Magazine; mamazine; Literary Mama; and PoetryReviews.ca. Between O and V, my poetry chapbook, was published by Friday Circle in 2008.

My client roster is diverse, and the projects I take on include works of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and spirituality, as well as corporate pieces related to architecture and design. I appreciate the challenges this career has to offer, and I approach each assignment with dedication, enthusiasm, and energy.
